It started off with Teya turning the BIG 8! She really wanted to get her ears pierced...so off to Clair's we went. She didn't even flinch.
The MOST important experience we had was that our little girl was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I'm so proud of the daughter of God she has blossomed into. Sniff...sniff...she's growing up so fast. We had a wonderful ceremony up in Spokane with lot's of family!

The next weekend, Ben and I, my parents, and some good friends went to the BYU football game in OR. It was so much fun...we were really glad they WON! Gotta love BYU football!!
Kali went on her first field trip to a pumpkin patch. They had corn mazes, hay mazes, hay rides, slides, apple eating. We both had a great time!
Then, while up in Spokane, we had a friend take a family picture of us...we thought it was probably about time since Caden was a baby in our last family portrait.

To finish off the month was of course...HALLOWEEN. Caden's new favorite holiday. He had so much fun getting CANDY...who would have guessed? Teya was a Chinese princess, Kali was the swan princess, Chris was a ninja, and Caden was a froggy!

I can't believe that Teya is 8!! That is crazy. Congrats to her on being baptized. How fun to go to the BYU game with the Furnesses. Love the family pictures! You have such a beautiful family. The kids look adorable in their Halloween costumes. Miss you guys!!
It is so great to see you are back on the bandwagon. Your kids get more adorable all the time. I had a little twinge of jealousy seeing you hanging out with the Furnesses. I miss getting to hang out with the Memphis bunch. It is awesome you are so close and get to see each other. Scottie was a ninja for Halloween, too. Go Ninjas.
Mamie!!!! How are all of you doing?? How is Ben's job going? I didn't know you had four kids now! CONGRATS! That is so fun you have two and two now. We are in Virginia in a little town called Elkton. Lee opened up a practice that had closed its doors about 2 years ago. Two doctors retired and basically walked away. We are buying it from one of the doctor's (the owner) and he is 89! We got a great "deal" and we love living in Elkton. Lee just changed locations this weekend and started working at Walmart twice a week to help with income. We ended the Army in July and have been living off of our own money since then, so the Walmart work helps me feel comfortable about buying food come February! Lee is the only doctor in town, so that is fun. All the kids are doing well and Elden is two and 1/2 now! You guys look great. I'm excited to see more updates! Take care!
Your family is so beautiful! It looks like you guys are keeping busy. I miss having you as our neighbor! If you are ever in the St Louis area, come see us!
